Austin Buchanan (born 22 May 1984[1]) is a rugby league player for the Dewsbury Rams.[1]
Buchanan started playing at age 14 at Milford and went on to play for the Leeds Rhinos, York City Knights, Castleford Tigers,[1] London Broncos[2] and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.[1] He was twice an Academy Winner with Leeds, a NL2 Grand Final runner-up with York and the following year won promotion from NL2 with York.[1]
According to the Dewsbury Rams site, 2008 marks Buchanan's second year with the Rams and he "looks to have pretty much secured his place in the first team."[1]
He is the half-brother of Leeds Rhinos and Great Britain international Jamie Jones-Buchanan.
